After watching the Steve Jobs movie for the first time, i wondered what it would be like if apple had gotten into the portable phone business earlier, and had created phones in similar design to their computers. I had plans to do more phones, particularly one that was based on the apple 1 with exposed PCB and more of a homemade aesthetic, but i was so eager to post this project that i jumped the gun and shared it early, i may come back to it soon and add the apple 1 and a few others to it.
I modelled, rendered and animated these phones in blender and got the vintage VHS look in after effects, making good use of red giants 'universe' plugin.
The project took a few weeks to complete, most of the time was spent rendering the animations.
