Kamp - Lintfort City Hall is an example of a pragmatic 1980s administration building. It is a busy place of work and a point of contact for about 40,000 citizens. In early 2018 the City invited me, to design a photographic exhibition for the visitors and employees. Troughout the complex I have identified details, patterns and readymade sculptures and isolated them in their Images thus upgrading them to the state of an exhibit. Since the photographed subjects can be found on their original site long after the exhibition is gone, it may have sustainably improved the visitors and employee's daily routine a little.
Das Kamp-Lintforter Rathaus ist ein pragmatischer Verwaltungsbau der 1980er Jahre, geschäftige Arbeitsstätte und täglich Anlaufpunkt für knapp 40.000 Bürger. Im Frühjahr 2018 wurde ich von der Stadt eingeladen eine Ausstellung für die Mitarbeiter und Besucher zu konzipieren. Als Motive habe ich im gesamten Gebäude Details, Muster und skulpturale Objekte ausfindig gemacht und sie in Bildern isoliert. Dadurch wird ihnen der Charakter eines Ausstellungsstückes verliehen. Da alle Motive an Ihrem eigentlichen Ort noch lange nach der Ausstellung zu finden sein werden, ist es gut möglich, dass die alltägliche Routine im Haus nachhaltig ein wenig aufgewertet wurde.
