Jewish Museum of Maryland Icon Set

My professor connected me with the Jewish Museum of Maryland to create an icon set for one of their exhibitions, “Fashion Statement Maryland,” which was open from April to September 2019. The client requested a lightweight, outlined style with small accent lines. The icons were meant to represent the interests and personalities of the museum visitors, which connected to the overall theme of the exhibit: using fashion to express one’s identity. JMM staff used the icons in various ways, including pins as takeaways for guests, a station to design and order a t-shirt, and magnets as part of an installation in the exhibit space. They also used the sewing needle icon to signify that there was additional information online for that specific piece.
