SPRING! (2019 Remake)

A remake of an animation I first created in 2015, SPRING! is a celebration of, well, the Spring season! I initially asked friends and family what things they associated with Spring and incorporated those into my short. Having developed my animation skills greatly over the last four years, I decided to recreate the animation to see how far I had come.
Recreating the Original
My goal in this process was to see how differently I would approach the project now compared to when I first developed the short. Therefore, rather than aim for a shot-by-shot recreation, I instead copied down a list of the elements I had included in the original and developed an entirely new set of storyboards. This way, the new short would have the same themes and overall feel, but a different visual approach.
