Horizons
The main focus was to explore different types of horizons and to create images with significant notion of depth. This technique gives photos an unique look and a sense of 3D space, even on a 2D surface of a photograph.
The depth effect was achieved by using image “compression” of a tele lens in combination with a scene containing multiple layers.

Another option is to use wide angle lens for composition with precisely chosen foreground and an interesting background, to achieve similar “depth” effect. Ten stop neutral density filter, also called "big stopper", might be used to enable long exposure times, which help to make water look smooth even during bright day light.
