WELCOME TO SALINAS!
My assignment was to create a travel poster for a destination. I chose my hometown of Salinas, CA. It's a historical town; known to be the hometown of popular author, John Steinbeck. It is also known as the "Salad Bowl" because it is located in the valley and provides most of the vegetable and fruit produce.
CONCEPT:
I wanted to focus on the agricultural aspect of my hometown. I researched many travel posters back from IPA to current modern designs. I chose to stick with a design that would help promote a fun, healthy lifestyle.
