At the end of 2018, buero_v1 - as a newly founded design bureau from Düsseldorf - surprised 100 handpicked companies with a special and limited mailing package. The aim was, in addition to the acquisition of new customers, to introduce the design bureau and draw attention to our new and unconventional creative approach.

With the motto “The future is 2019”, buero_v1 developed different communication products, that all represented the company’s vision and depict this slogan. buero_v1 used for this its own corporate design and that is whyat the centre of the newly developed design there was our house colour “acid green”.

The bright colour was complemented by exceptional and conceptually developed motifs, creating an extraordinary overall picture.

As the mailing was planned for the beginning of the year 2019, the main communication measure of the mailing was a calendar. It contained 13 individually designed pages, with different abstract and provocative motifs, which sparked interest among each other.

buero_v1 presents its own way of designing and shows passion for various graphic styles for example also 3-D. In general, the motifs show the same conceptual style.

In addition to this, the mailing did include a poster and several stickers. All measures were specially printed with fluorescent green in order to represent our house color “acid green” as faithfully as possible.

All mailings also contained a personalized cover letter, introducing ourselves as a design bureau from Düsseldorf. The business cards of the co-founders were included in case that somebody wanted to get in touch with us.

All the content of the mailing was sent in an attractive silver metallic sbag. The mailings were decorated in hand-made “urban” style: With the help of a stencil and neon-graffiti, to all the backsides of the bags we added our corporate emoji, the buero_v1 smiley.

Each of the 100 mailings was unique and received its own limited number. This could be found on the front of the package and distinguished the uniqueness of each shipment. If somebody was not interested in the buero_v1 mailing, he was politely asked to properly recycle its components.
