Super Boat Announces First Race of 2019 Season
Russell “Rusty” Rahm has spent more than 23 years as president and chief executive officer of Subscription Ink Co. in Shawnee, Kansas. When he is not overseeing operations at the company, Rusty Rahm serves as the driver of Wake Effects, a highly decorated Superboat Unlimited class race team competing in Super Boat International Productions events.

Super Boat International, the leading national and international offshore powerboat racing organization, has named the city of Kenner, a suburb of New Orleans, as the site of the first superboat race of the 2019 season. The three day event, which will take place on Lake Pontchartrain, has been scheduled to begin on June 21. The Kenner Super Boat Grand Prix was first discussed in September of last year as Super Boat authorities and enthusiasts worked towards bringing competitive racing back to New Orleans, home of the 2002 world championships.

The event is set to begin with a welcome parade featuring all racers and a display of classic vehicles, which will remain open to the public all weekend. More information about the Kenner Super Boat Grand Prix, as well as other upcoming races for the 2019 season, can be found at www.superboat.com.
