Hi, my name is Ansa, living in New York City.
I feel lonely sometimes.
I feel scared sometimes.
I feel angry sometimes.
I feel I am a joke......
I want to escape.
Suddenly, I look forward to the sky to fall with quiet rain.
And remind me of the wisdom an old song sang,
‘Even though it is raining, we must still proceed bravely’

The story is about a girl who fell asleep on the MTA subway. She woke up and found herself in the land of Monsters. The story reminds us of our fears and discomforts in New York City and because we have overcome those emotions every day, we are all brave enough to be called a hero.

I put Taitanic in the opening as a symbol of coming to New York is a Tragedy. Titanic is supposed to arrive New York at The Hudson River.

How I composed the street view is first, draw a very rough sketch first; second, find photos with the object that match what I think; third, cut and transform the image to match my rough composition. I secretly hid my signature on the graffiti wall.
When you walk on the streets of Manhattan, it is not hard to feel that people generally do things in high speed as if something is warning at them to go faster in their mind. So I put a giant clock at the scene. The giant clock conveys the feeling of being chased by time.
Monster - Butt holder. I have been to Taipei, Tokyo, Shanghai, Prague, Bangkok......So far New York is the only city that people hold door like it is a normal thing to do.
I encountered the term super slender building while I visit Sky Scrapper Museum. It is very expensive to live in such tall buildings. I think those accommodations will never be affordable to me. What is it like to live in those buildings? Will people up there feel more superior than people on the ground? I think the answer is certain, I can see it from their eyes. Laughter and proud are flicking.
