Graphic design gif animation based around how we act online and use social media. I used instagram to create an audience and got people to engage with which statements they thought applied to them more and then posted the results of the statements.

I created all of the imagery myself, hand drawing and then digitising on Adobe Illustrator and colouring up with my chosen colour palette. I came up with the idea of having 2 opposing statements; for each of these the character models and patterns would be the same but slightly altered to suit the tone of each statement in a pair. This visually ties the two statements together. I created simple animated gifs to bring them together, I haven't worked with gif creation before so this allowed me to build on my skills. I chose the name #CopyCat because it's a memorable name and well known phrase. Plus cats are very popular online, and drawing cats meant that there wouldn't accidentally be an issue of non-inclusivity and I can draw them in more visually appealing and cute ways.
I also created some positivity posts to post mid week, with the same style, branding it "Wellness Wednesday".
