This documentary project has born because of a road trip in Mongolia from Ulaanbaatar through the Gobi desert. We went to visit family (my girlfriend has Mongolian roots) and they took us around on the most authentic 2500 km journey. I forced myself to shoot the entire trip on 35mm analog film (Kodak Portra 400) to be more present and  only focus on the most interesting themes.
So I brought my freshly purchased Nikon F3 with 50mm lens.
