At the moment Bonusho.com is going through major design changes. Instead of doing everything in one go we are actually going to change it bit by bit. In the coming months there's buttons, boxes, fonts and certain landing pages that are going through most changes. In this project you will see how our buttons have evolved.

The old buttons had a 3D feel to them. They were inspired by an old classic rubber eraser, the famous ’Pink Pearl’ from Paper Mate. 

With a mission to create a more uniform graphic design language we decided to move towards a more flat approach, rather than keep exploring 3D - the buttons had to go flat as well.   The rubber eraser was simple replaced byt something else we found on our desk - a rubber band.

The new graphic design language will be created around gradient covered images with line icons. The new line based buttons helps us work towards that goal.

Here's an overview how the new buttons will look (to the right) compared to the old ones (to the left). When it comes to conversion we are eager to see how this will effect the outcome. Conversion in our business is A & O. The old button did catch your attention, but with two many buttons taking so much attention at the very same time we felt it might be a but too much. 

The new button takes less attention - until it's hovered.

These new buttons are also part of bigger design changes, which will be presented later on this year. New fonts and new boxes are almost ready but are currently hidden under the pixelation effect.
