Schaatsen in de Stad
Right before the beginning of December four entrepreneurs from in and around Zwolle (The Netherlands) joined forces and put together a temporary ice skating rank. Everything was arranged within four weeks, and I was asked to design a logo and identity.
'Schaatsen in de Stad', as the organisation is called, literally translates to 'Ice skating in the City'. Thats how I came up with the idea of combining the city's iconic building, De Peperbus, with an ice crystal and hints of snow into one logo. Accompanied by a colourful identity used in all the expressions, the whole formed a strong visual language.
