This space as designed in order to promote regional handicrafts of the state of Karnataka, India. This concept involves the direct interaction of the artisan and urban public removing the middle men from the equation. This would not just create a an opportunity for the artisans but also engage the buyer directly with the craftsmen. The design concept was to lace a contemporary form while emphasizing the traditional craftsmanship within it. Major Patterns used here are Voronoi + Kinnal patterns. Major material components are made using metal scrap that are fabricated along the curvature.
