Al Naseem | Branding

Overview
Al Naseem is a waterfront villa/community located in Diyar, Kingdom of Bahrain. The concept started with a logo mark that pays a homage to the geometric design of the villas combined with an abstract interpretation of the Nordic symbol for air, referencing the fresh and airy landscape of the area as the Arabic term “Naseem” translates to the word “Breeze”.

The design features a selection of fonts that are known for their craftsmanship. Neutraface, a font influenced by the design trends of the 1920’s, conveys a sense of the affluent period often associated with luxurious ocean travel, a cultural reference to the developments location by the sea.

The serif font, Perpetua, helps give the visuals a solid base that helps convey trust and strength.   We took the shape of the canal as a basis for a supporting graphic for the brand. Its shape evokes feelings of fluid movement that act as a reference to wind and water A desirable experience associated with living in open spaces  by the sea.
