MASCOT REVAMP: DoOBY
This is a project that I worked on back in 2015, involving a flavored milk pack very near and dear to my heart and childhood. Needless to say I enjoyed every moment of working on Dooby's revamp and want to share the journey to production. :)

The task at hand was to give the old packs an uplift through a consistent mascot illustration, layout/background, and enhance the flavor descriptors to stand out better.
The old packs
Style exploration / CONCEPT SKETCHES
SOME OF THE (FLESHED OUT) CONTENDERS
REFINING, REFINING…
Some of the initial concepts were developed further but were eventually dropped along the way in favor of the 'realistic' style proposed and taken forward below!
INTRODUCING ROSIE
The world of lacnor involved a darling cow named Rosie, who then needed to translate into the flavored milk range as Dooby's good friend. Her development was the smoothest as I had a very clear picture of her image to-be, with the only adjustment being to thicken her legs for a healthier look. Oh, and blue eyes. :D
INITIAL PACK LAYOUTS
We required Dooby to be an active and inspiring role model in his own right and selected activities to match each flavor pack. The background landscape and typography were co-created with the very talented Sudhin, who also helped out with the pose sketches!
FLAVOR ME THIS
The flavor had to be recognizable immediately and so the visualization of this was explored in a couple of ways, landing eventually on having a 'container'. The Arabic version of the pack was also developed at this stage.
…THE FINAL FOUR!
…the best part however is seeing the final product on shelves (IKEA, at that!).
…and that's pretty much most of it!
