Mandala done with first letters of companies from the fortune 500. Intention was to juxtapose the peaceful geometric shapes of mandala with hard colors of corporate america.
gel pen. this was my first attempt to make a mandala
this isn't exactly mandala but four shifted polar coordinates and then using the same rules for the circular mandalas. has it's own difficulties and would love to revisit these kinds of shapes at some point.
Crayon mandala. looks like carnival splatter paint from my youth
pencil. can work fast, no need to change colors. the immediacy is interesting.
