For more than 30 years Fernando Moncada has been in touch with the African Art. The kind of art practised by ethnical groups from Angola, Mozambique and Guinea Bissau was from the beginning his main interest, later enlarged to other African regions, as well as to other continents. With great experience in the Portuguese Antiques market he opened in 2001, together with Alexandrina Andrade, a gallery exclusively dedicated to the Tribal Art.
Being one of the most important galleries of its kind in Portugal, an online presence to reflect this abroad was the natural next step. Minimal in form, the website makes sure that a potential client isn't driven away from it's main purpose: to see and evaluate Tribal Art. As such, the centre stage is literally given to the artworks in the Gallery section.
