When Fablab Genk opened at our faculty we had the opportunity to be the first ones to play with the equipment. Our case description was to build an alternative musical instrument using Arduino. So, Lucas Daniels, Steven Thys and I made GuitArduino, a futuristic guitar where we replaced the snares with light sensors and custom made capacitive touch sensors. We hooked the GuitArduino to Fruity Loops on a computer through PureData, thus enabling the guitar to play any sort of audio sample or effect.
