Viennese slang for “the old ones”
“Die Oidn” is authentic vintage eyewear by the optician Jäckel Optik in Vienna, Reumannplatz. 86/60 created a local brand with a cheeky but friendly tonality and a distinct photo style. Among other things we designed the website, postcard flyers, stickers and the packaging.
Over the years customers returned their old glasses to the shop as a donation for developing countries. Rudi Kern, the owener of the family business, couldn’t give the most beautiful frames away and put them aside. After the collection grew over time Rudi Kern decided to sell them and donate one third of the income to charity.
