Meager mortals passing through the maze of anxiety seeking for salvation, while cruel and dark surrounding world is trying to catch them and suppress them into the oblivion. Can they find the passage out and be finally free of all the burden they are carrying?

I photographed these trees first time in 2012. I walk past these trees regularly but it was not until fellow photographer praised the trees to be so photogenic that I got inspired to return there with my camera in 2014. Again it took almost a year until I went to local landfill and photographed birds. I wanted the bird images to be from down up so I could place them between the caps in the trees. There are lots of birds in the local landfill so I didn’t have to wait too long before some of them flew over me. Tree photos were already pretty graphic but I exaggerated it even more to give pictures a drawing kind of feel.
