Azzedine Alaïa’s exhibition at Palazzo Clerici

 

 

These are the pictures I have taken for an article to be published on New York Style Guide for the first exhibition dedicated to Alaïa, the great designer that passed away last November.

 

The collection of dresses from the 80ies to his last collection was shown in the breathtaking golden room decorated by Gianbattista Tiepolo. The room that is normally closed to the public, hosted this exhibition for a very limited time, and used mannequins shaped on the body of Naomi Campbell, close friend of the iconic designer.
