THE UNCONSCIOUSNESS OF AN ERA

The humanity weakens itself through wars, discriminations... while on the other hand, progresses are rapidly exceeding us, until reaching the end of an era; where the human is no more than a piece of museum art, forgotten and replaced by the next generation of population.
PROJECT
Oblivion is a personal experimental project i worked on a fews months ago.
The main idea was to create a fictive predicting of the humankind's fate.
- On the first side the regressive facts : wars, riots, discriminations, violences, ...
- On the other side the progressive facts : breakthrough technologies, GMOs, aritificial intelligences, cyborgs, advanced space explorations, etc
Both sides are pulling us apart in opposite directions. So what would become our humanity at the end of our era? Once humans will no longer exist, bringing with them all the regressive facts?
The planet would be populated by all the smart technologies we had created, turning us into a forgotten race which once lived on earth .
STILLS
B&W helped me to accentuate the drama and weigh down a bit the mood of the video.
It also reminds the morning with reference to the extinction of the era.
