A respected corporate executive, Micheal “Mike” Albert Hernandez III is a Brownsville native with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance, automotive, and real estate industries. Mike Hernandez III is the CEO of D & M Leasing in Dallas and is actively involved in various nonprofit organizations through OP 10.33, a project to provide opportunities for Cameron County citizens.
While the Cameron County Education Initiative (CCEI) was launched with the primary goal of advancing education, it also provides excellent career services for both graduates and employers. CCEI has a dedicated Career Services Department that offers job assistance to all graduates by helping them prepare for and identify employment opportunities related to their areas of study. The Career Services Department also coaches graduates to enhance their interviewing skills and gives advice and information on job availability.
CCEI collaborates and develops partnerships with employers to build better career training programs that meet workforce needs. The initiative also prescreens candidates, holds job fairs, schedules interviews, and provides free training and meeting spaces.
