In summer 2018 Appartamento Studio hosted its first workshop about editorial production with the help of talented bookbinder Tiziano Codina.
The aim of the workshop was to design a bestiary collecting some imaginary and grotesque tourists, describing their features through images, graphics and typography. The six participants had six fantastic beasts and six colors of Colorplan paper to choose from.

In two days we tackled all the stages of editorial production, including research, print and binding. The book is composed by six booklets, each one regarding a tourist, sawn on cords with the aid of a frame.
