For years FragmentNine, the award winning production design studio based out of Austin, TX, has been working to integrate cutting-edge technologies into their live shows. As part of their preparation for british art-pop band alt-J’s Relaxer world tour, FragmentNine reached out to All of it Now to design real-time generative graphics for the show.

The gorgeous stage design gave our team an exciting canvas to work with. We created abstract volumetric video content to be displayed across dozens of custom LED screens, positioned at different depths throughout the stage. Armed with disguise media servers to host All of it Now’s Notch-generated graphics, the FragmentNine/Alt-J team was able to experiment further with visual effects and fine tune control of the 3D volumetric video.

Following the release of Relaxer, alt-J’s acclaimed third record, FragmentNine and the band hit the road. The tour included dates in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, as well as several music festivals, including, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

In September 2017 it was awarded Best Arena Show Design at the 10th annual KOI awards.
