First book I ever had the pleasure to design and typeset during my time at school. The book is a commission from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, and was created under the guidance and help of my amazing tutor Marta Kamieńska.
The book regards the development of animation course in the school. As we knew it was going to be illustration-heavy, the layout was designed to keep balanced proportions with movie stills, that constitute most of the publications images. Thanks to the flexible grid, the book has a dynamic feel, with images and excerpts of varying sizes. The aforementioned parts help build a narration throughout the publication and aid the reader navigate the text.
