Comedy Show Posters

Various posters made for comedy shows from 2018-2019.
Inspired by Norman Rockwell paintings. I used stock photos and photoshop to create the astronaut dog.
Inspired by Saul Bass. With the date of this show being in the summer, I wanted to create an illustration that could comically represent that season, which led me to the grill on fire.
Improv Broadway is a theatre that specializes in long-form improv musicals. Along with performing shows, they also offer classes. At the end of each class, they host a free show to be performed by the students. To implement this information into a graphic, I used the iconic Groucho Marx glasses and a keyboard. I used Futura to mimic the feel of other famous improv theaters.
Self-portrait. I used the makeup and floral crown as a reference for the colors of the rest of the poster.
Chase asked me to create this poster for a charity show he had organized. Along with creating the show, he was also working on establishing his brand Chase Bryan Presents. Because of this, we wanted to make sure his brand was prominent for people to understand how this show came to be, and who to go to if they wanted a show. I used the Akko font to compliment the roundness of the illustrations and the shapes of the playing cards.
