Epic Poker was launched in July of 2011 as the first-ever Professional Poker League (like the NFL, NBA, PGA). Based on winning stats, 218 of the world’s best live tournament players qualified for the league and competed for cash prizes and title. While the League was very new, the brand had to look established, official, and "sports-like.”

The tournaments were held at the Palms Casino Resorts in Las Vegas. A set was built to tape all the poker action to be televised on CBS Sports and Velocity on Cable. It was quite successful and gained immediate acceptance in the gaming industry.

The Epic Poker Champion’s ring was like the Super Bowl ring all pros coveted, this one is awarded to the winner of each Epic Poker Main Event. It was a thrill to see my logo design on an eighteen-karat white-gold ring custom-made by Josh Warner’s company GOOD ART.
