My hands were itching to buy a new skateboard deck but my old one wasn't ready to be replaced. Instead I decided to put some fresh paint on my board to make it look like new.

Sadly I forgot to document every step of the process. 

I started by sanding down the board so the paint would be able to stick on the wood.

After that I taped the sides of the board and started to lay down a few base layers of yellow spray-paint. After that I masked a part of the board to lay down the black part of the design.

After all that was dry it was time for the next elements of the design. I used stencils for the words and the head consisted of 3 stencils. After that I corrected some things with a small brush and some paint of the spray cans I used before.

The face on my board is Eddy Wally or the "WOW GUY". He was a musician/performer from Belgium that passed away in 2016. 

After all the painting was done I sprayed the board with some glossy varnish.
