One of the conditions of modern life is the ability to operate on several reality levels. Physically we’re present in one reality, where rules, such as gravity, are fundamental. Yet reality has also always been something in our minds as well. There’s nothing new to that, However, most people never really noticed, since there wasn’t necessarily a conflict between the inner and the outer world.
With the explosive introduction to more sources of input and information, we’re forced to relate to the fact that reality is a construction that we choose ourselves. And never before has there been so many providers who have an interest in influencing our perceptions.
