OPEN YOUR MIND
This project is for a module called "Narrative Illustration". This particular short 8-spread comic is about how a group of judgemental and narrow-minded millenials discover a whole new world of cuisine in the most unexpected place.
This project plans to spread the beauty and uniqueness of Singapore's one and only hawker culture. It will be printed in the form on vinyl stickers to be placed on tables of the 24/7 hawker centre in Our Tampines Hub.
Here are the characters to be seen in the upcoming comic strip. From the order of left to right is Didi (younger brother), Meimei (younger sister), Jiejie (older sister), Ahma (grandmother) and a hawker.
