Surgery Management System is an application which models a modern hospital setting. It consists of an Oracle database with a Java front end and was completed as a pair project. Personnel included Juan Chen and myself (George Roberts III). Juan Chen made the Java front-end and I wrote all of the SQL code and made the ER diagram.
Surgery Management System tracks patients, physicians, surgeries and billing. The progress of surgeries can be tracked by checklists which may be nested. Constraints preclude surgeons from being "double-booked" for surgeries.
