This is a fictional work created for a module called "Studio Project 1".
The assignment required us to come up with our own brief, with given keywords, given followed by chosen, my keywords were "Music" and "Sunset" respectively.

My two prompt words---Music and Sunset, would refer to the decline of Chinese Opera.
After being brought into Singapore by Chinese immigrants in the 19 century, Chinese Opera, also known as Wayang, became a distinctively imperative identity of Chinese culture. This was seen during the Seventh Month festivities when Chinese Opera frequented the streets. By 1881, there were over 240 opera performers in Singapore. Now, this form of live entertainment which used to enthral audiences more than anything else is facing a crisis of endangerment due to the disinterest of the younger audience.

Therefore, a campaign called Let's go! Opera, with the aim of revamping the old stereotypical "noisy" Chinese Opera into a fun and cute outlook with adorable mascots Tianlu (left) and Bixie (right). Both of these mascots are Pixius, which are mythical creatures which appear in times of crisis to bring prosperity and luck, both of which Chinese Opera are in need of right now. The video below further explains this campaign.
The photos below display all the deliverables created to support this campaign.
The website is what brings sense to the deliverables shown above. The following photos show screen-grabs of the flow the visitor is expected to follow. From learning all about the objective to learning about it and practising it. After all that, sharing and then competing. The website contains lots of .gifs to stimulate the interest of children so be sure to view the website in its true form right here.
Thank you for viewing this particular project and I hope you learned something new!
