This painting was one of the 1st paintings with What I call Dots. There were a few others but they are in privet collections. It is called " The Implosion "
This is "the Face in the Matrix" This was a transitional piece in my work.
This is one of the 1st of my new paintings it has no Title but its name is MARTHA. I like this concept .

Here it is Folks . My First Blog
I've been working up to this for a year when I got this Great computer. Its taken me about a year to learn enough to get started.
What I want to talk about is Art . But actually my Art . In the process I'll show how it all fits in if you want . But mostly I want to be able to introduce myself and my Art to you. And even more I am looking forward to hearing all of you about this.
I expect that you guys will have a lot to say about my stuff at least I hope so. Tell your friends .
I will start with the paintings I just put up. This series had a slow start back in 1989 when I moved to Baltimore and set up my 1st real studio. With in 2 years I was in Art In America had a Dealer in DC and was Showing all over DC and Maryland. I picked Baltimore as it was Close to all the Major Art Museums and Galleries on the East Coast. A day trip to almost all of them. Also it had the cheapest rent and beer I had ever found.
With that Studio near the famous Fells Point area of Baltimore I had a Base to start working from . I could paint any time I wanted to and I never had to clean up. And I was in a Studio complex with Artist all around me. That is Heaven to me.
Then to really close the deal I got a job at the Casting Foundry in Baltimore.
When I moved in I decided to paint . A LOT. I went through more stuff in the next 3 years then most Artist do in several life times. I had the time , the friends and the Bars. I was rolling .
Thats enough for to day. It's a big story and I don't know if any one will see it yet.
