Balsoy

Webdesign + Art direction + Photography / 2016

Balsoy is a new product. Balsoy is an amazing combination of Japanese soy sauce and balsamic vinegar from Modena in Italy. For the launch of its global communication, I was commissioned to manage the art direction of the product, and create the website with key visuals for social media, print, ...

The idea was to find a way to illustrate this improbable encounter between Japan and Italy, but above all, to make people want to test the product by demonstrating that it can easily replace your traditional condiment for all dishes made with vinegar or soy sauce.

The bottle packshot.

We needed a perfect packshot, which could be used on any background of any color. The best solution was to start with a shot, then redo 90% of it on photoshop and thus have a great control over the reflections, shadows, sharpness and purity of the grain.

Make it appetizing.

After understanding what Balsoy is made of, after discovering Keisuke Matsushima, I wanted the visitor to be able to discover the product in its use, and especially to understand that it could easily replace traditional balsamic vinegar and soy sauce. For this, I made a series of shots of simple dishes, having in common the simplicity and use of Balsoy.

And more.

I've made various visuals for print, such as documents, brochures, kakemonos for expositions, etc.
