Kold is a cryptocurrency aiming to solve some of the problems present in the crypto space right now. One problem is security. If your wallet is hacked, the hacker can empty your wallet in minutes without a trace, and in most cases, there's no way to recover your money. With Kold, users can set a time delay on transactions along with a "lifeboat" wallet. If the user notices transactions that they didn't initiate, they can cancel any transaction within the time delay and can set their wallet into "rescue mode." In Rescue mode, money can only be sent to the lifeboat wallet that was set when the wallet was created.
Another problem that needed to be solved was usability. Many crypto wallets are designed with very technically savvy people in mind. We wanted Kold to feel polished and user-friendly.
On the dashboard, users can quickly send money to another wallet, copy their own wallet address, see recent transactions, and see their mints (which act like a sort of savings account). They can quickly cancel a pending transaction by hovering and clicking the cancel button.
