NYAM's Urban Health Informatics Innovation Conference

Drawing upon extensive experience in private equity and hedge fund nvestment in the healthcare sector, Mitchell Blutt is the founder and CEO of New York's Consonance Capital. Moreover, he is a member of the Dean's Council at Weill Cornell Medical College. Mitchell Blutt also holds membership in the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM).

With the co-sponsorship of the Academy Health Informatics Workgroup and the Nursing Section, the NYAM will host the Urban Health Informatics Innovation Conference & Exhibit at its 103rd Street location in New York on April 30, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The three-hour event will include numerous presentation stations at which innovative informatics solutions that deal with healthcare applications will be displayed. The stations will detail innovations or promising prototypes. They will also feature their developers, healthcare professionals capable of addressing their application, and logistic professionals who can describe their costs, contracts, and interoperability and connectivity issues. 

After these presentations, there will be seven-minute panel presentations that offer summaries of the innovations as well as a final question-and-answer session. NYAM fellows and members will be able to attend the event free of charge, while members of the general public will pay $20. Students will be able to pay $10 with the appropriate identification.
