Scotland Photo Collection

I was incredibly fortunate for the opportunity to take a trip to Scotland a couple of summers ago. I like to travel light, so I packed everything I would need for a 10-to-12 day trip in a single carry-on backpack, practically airtight, and left my Canon T3i at home. The instant I arrived I knew it was a special place. I visited Glasgow, Islay, Jura, the Isle of Skye, and Edinburgh during those 10 or so days.

Everywhere I looked I was surrounded by beautiful landscapes or architecture or villages. I snapped hundreds of videos, photos, and voice memos of Scotland throughout the trip on my ASUS Zenfone 2, basically a GoPhone version of a smart phone with almost no internal storage, but luckily containing a mini-SD card slot. Excluding some minimal cropping on a handful of these photos, they are entirely unedited. I selected the following photos from everything else I shot to show that even with a cheap phone you can capture a lot of beautiful moments that you will remember for the rest of your life!
