Arte del single “Esperanza” para la banda Pakalolo.
La canción habla sobre mantener la esperanza en los momentos adversos y eso fue lo que se quiso mostrar en el arte.
La banda quería plasmar a Caracas, la capital de Venezuela, inundándose; mostrando elementos icónicos que representan la ciudad.
Por ende, se tomó como representación principal al Cerro El Ávila acompañada de la conocida Cruz del Ávila -que aparece como tatuaje de la montaña en la ilustración-, y el Hotel Humboldt.
A su vez, en la inundación alrededor del Ávila hay edificios, artes y esculturas icónicas de la ciudad como el Obelisco de la Plaza Francia de Altamira, las Torres de Parque Central, la Torre Previsora, la Taza Nescafé de Plaza Venezuela y La Esfera de Jesús Soto.
Todo esto plasma una ciudad inundada de problemas pero que se mantiene a flote a través de la esperanza.

This song talks about maintaining hope in adverse moments and that’s what it’s shown in the art piece.
The band wanted to capture Caracas, -Venezuela’s capital city-, flooding; showing iconic elements that represent the city.
Therefore, Cerro El Ávila was taken as the art’s main representation, accompanied by the well-known Cruz del Ávila -which appears as a mountain tattoo in the illustration-, and the Humboldt Hotel.
Furthermore, in the flood around the Ávila there are buildings, arts and iconic sculptures of the city such as Plaza Francia’s Obelisk in Altamira, Central Park’s Towers, the Previsora Tower, the Nescafé Cup of Plaza Venezuela and Jesús Soto’s Sphere.
All this reflects a city flooded with problems but that remains afloat through hope.
