Designing a Huge Repository of Research Documents with Social Features

Zorhub came to me for a wide range of UI and UX tasks. As a early stage startup they had a alpha-level web application and several prototypes. I was able to apply design thinking to updating the entire interface for usability, and attractiveness for inbound marketing. Also, my experience with the ASP.Net stack and customizing the bootstrap CSS framework made it possible to do a large portion of the implementation coding for the design work.
We started off with several design concepts and iterated multiple times, especially in the effort of bringing an effective homepage together. This included iterations to develop great copy.
The final site has been able to perform well and serves to differentiate the platform from any competitors, is user friendly for reading very large documents, and packs lots of features into an efficient layout.
