AudioEase is a sound product to be used in ambulances for heart patients.
In Denmark the transport time for patients are often quite long, which can be stressful for patients. The sound device changes the local sound environment around the patient thus reducing anxiety and stress. Through active noise reduction and MusiCure, a specially developed music that has proven effects on relaxation and healing the product assist in increasing the survival rate for the patients.
The project was made in close collaboration with nurses, doctors and the danish paramedic company Falck.

The design proces
To kick off the project we made a native study of what happens to heart patients in an ambulance. Through out the project we tested concepts in the ambulance context together with paramedics from the danish company Falck.
