The University of Tulsa competes in the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition. The 2010 sponsor was State Farm. Our concept centered around a character referred to only as "Cool Old Guy" to be the reliable, trustworthy, plain-talking alternative to the myriad of other insurance mascots. As creative director for the campaign, I took primary charge over the development of the plansbook, which won a Judges Special Award for our campaign.
