REAL'Za
This is an exciting, all-natural pizza line that just hit the shelves in late spring of 2017. I am no pizza connoisseur but, really, the pizza is delicious! The crust is the perfect type of crunchy and it even comes with those magnificent crumbs that accompany restaurant stone-fire baked pizzas. Besides the crust, the pizzas are topped with ingredients that we can feel good about.
The design was created by another designer within the agency. Their intent was to highlight the simplicity and pureness of the pizza. A beautiful slice on a black slate background does a wonderful job of making the cheese and toppings pop. The back panel layout specifically calls out and offers details on each of the ingredients within the pizza.
WHAT WAS MY PART?
Although I did not create the design, I did play a part in making this product a reality. Once the original design was completed, I created a photo plan for all of the imagery that would be shot in our company photo studio. I then art directed the dual-set photo shoot over the course of a couple days to get the 39 images needed for the 8 pizza sku's. I then oversaw the file creation and completion all the way until plating.
