The Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run

A longtime executive in the Redding, CT, community, David Bohn is the president of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, which provides energy-efficient industrial oil- and gas-powered burners and boilers. When not leading the company, David Bohn remains active in charitable giving and donates to the Arthritis Foundation, which will host its annual Jingle Bell Run in December 2017. 

The Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run brings together individuals to raise funds for vital research on arthritis pain. Held on multiple dates in December, the 5K Jingle Bell Run will take place in cities all throughout the country, from Seattle and San Diego to Orlando and Westport, CT. 

Runners form a team made up of friends, family, or coworkers come together to raise funds for arthritis research and educational programs. The Arthritis Foundation assists with the process by offering tips on ways to boost fundraising efforts, such as by using the organization’s social media status updates. 

On race day, participants dress in festive Christmas gear, including costumes and jingle bells for their shoe laces. The holiday event serves as a way for individuals to come together to make a difference for those who live with arthritis pain.
