This is my response to a YCN brief for the Roald Dahl Literary Estate to reimagine Dahl's popular children's stories. These illustrations have been done in the style of a blind drawing, to give a fresh and slightly obscure twist to some of Dahl's best works. I have then applied the illustrations to different child friendly toys.
Below are hand painted nesting dolls I made with the illustrations of different characters from Dahl's stories, which I also designed the packaging for.
Next I used MagicTouch paper to print my designs onto enamel mugs.
