PIITs : Summer card x Contact page

In 2016, my team launched the 1st edition of its new project, PIITs.
< Project Indian Institutes of Technology>

Due to a rising shortage of engineers in Japan, we connected IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) students, the acclaimed engineering paradigms of India, with companies in Japan for summer internship and future employment opportunities.

One of the key things we noticed was that even though we had targeted very traditional Japanese companies, the issue of language barrier was not of paramount discomfort. The employees of the client companies were understanding and tried their best to communicate in English.
This, showed interest and effort.

To gain traction for the year of 2018, we decided to theme our 'Shochuu Mimai' (summer greeting card) on PIITs. The greeting card will be extremely minimalistic with a QR code that leads to the contact page of PIITs.

Because we are targeting traditional Japanese companies, we wanted to make the webpage feel relatable. In contrast to the minimalistic design of the greeting card, the webpage is vibrant with the colors of the Logo. We did not want to overflow the page with information. At the same time, we wanted those looking at it, to feel at ease.

Also, being a mobile first webpage, we did not want to clunk the page with overly long contact forms. The contact form contains the bare essentials required and provides immediate feedback.
