Svedala – Type design
Svedala is type family reflecting the contrast between winter and summer in Sweden. Inspiration comes from the national typeface Sweden Sans.
Sommar (summer) is a display typeface reflecting the casual and light summers. Vinter (winter) is a display typeface reflecting dark winters and cracked ice. Vardag (weekday) works well for paragraphs in a smaller size, together with sommar and vinter.
This is a Type@Paris 2016 project. Conceived during 5 weeks in Paris under the guidance
of Jean François Porchez, Mathieu Réguer, Julien Priez, and Xavier Dupré.
