Established with a view to promote social and cultural awareness my project features a collection of 12 zodiac signs done in vivid, lively and refined expression of art, bearing signature styles of Gond Artists in the form of illustrations and motifs for decoration transposed into paper. It was kept in mind that in the process of contemporizing it, the painting doesn't loses its own identity and that the beauty of Gond Painting maintains its authenticity in its own special and unique way of dots and dashes.
Colors: bright and contemporary. Two shades of each color were used to give design a depth and 3d look

Aries: The wool of sheep is done in a circular way with dots to give that fluffy look.

Taurus: Emphasis given on bull's horns and nose rings.

Gemini: The use of colors and forms (dots and dashes) was done in such a way so as to give a wave to the hairs and a 3d look.

Cancer: A symmetrical pattern is done on the shell of the crab

Leo: The hairs are done in bright color with thick dashes and zig-zag lines in an outward direction, to show boldness.

Virgo: Use of dots of varying colors. The dots created the line which became the hair strands.

Libra: Basket weave effect given, using the lighter and the darker tone of base color on the basket area.

Scorpio: The patterns follow the direction of the body parts of the scorpio.

Sagittarius: The arrow and bow depicting the Sagittarius is done highlighting its key area by dense pattern and heavy contrasting colors.

Pisces: The fish scales were done with lines and dots in the color of the other two scales adjoining it. This created an interesting color effect and gave the illusion of dense fish scales at the same time.
