EMBRACING VASES
Last summer I was assisting Ilona Romule (in the International Ceramics Studio, Kecskemét, Hungary) on her course: Porcelain A-Z. I had the chance to work along with the group as well.
I was in a bad place at the time, feeling related to this line a lot:
"I get eaten by the worms and weird fishes" (Radiohead / Weird Fishes).
So I made this weird fishworm kind of creature, that when standing, slightly reminds of a torso of a woman in a long dress.
In the end, something more beautiful came out of all this, as I realized that if two of them are put together, they look like embracing creatures.
They are glazed inside, so they can be used as vases, each for a single flower.
